Bobby the Bongo is keen to take you on your New Zealand adventure!
Perfect for 1 to 3 people wanting to hit the road and see what this amazing country has to offer!
Seating and seat belts for 3 people in the front while driving.
Inside, the galley style seating area converts to an extra large double bed for a great nights sleep. The bed is wide enough for 3 people (150cm wide), if you would prefer a bit more sleeping space, ask us about the supply of an additional tent to pitch alongside the van. All bedding is supplied, sleeping bags, pillows, sheets to fit over the cushions and extra blankets if you need them. We also supply beach and bath towels.
12V battery supplies the internal lighting, fans, water pump, 2 USB charging points and bluetooth stereo system. A 240v power cord is supplied if you want to connect to a powered site.
The kitchen area at the back of the van has a plumbed in sink with powered pump tap, a single burner butane gas stove and chilly bin Also supplied is all the crockery, cutlery and cookware you will need, as well as cleaning cloths, detergents and tea towels etc.
The fresh and waste water tanks each hold 40 litres. A portable toilet is provided (must be returned clean if used). Bobby is certified 'self contained' so good for freedom camping.
A heater will be included for the colder times of year, this will only work when you have mains power available.
There is also a box of 'all sorts' in the van, clothes line/pegs, citronella candles etc. If there is anything you need in the van for your trip, just ask and we'll see what we can do!
Folding chairs for each traveller and a table are included for sitting outside.
Bobby is really easy to drive, automatic transmission and petrol engine.
Located in Rangiora, North Canterbury which is about half hour north of Christchurch. Rangiora is a great starting point heading north on State Highway 1 towards Kaikoura or south on the inland scenic route (highly recommending if travelling towards Tekapo, Wanaka or Queenstown!). Whatever your plans, we will arrange picking you up or meeting you with the van at the airport or in Christchurch if you need us to. Pick up / drop off times are flexible.

Pick Up & Drop Off
Please arrange mutually times and Pick Up/Drop Off locations with each other.
Insurance
The vehicle is insured by the SHAREaCAMPER Insurance.
Bond
For this camper the security bond amounts NZD 3,500.00. You can reduce it to NZD 500.00 for per rental day. The bond will be processed through SHAREaCAMPER's secure payment system.
Cancellation Fees
The SHAREaCAMPER booking fee is non-refundable.
90 days or more before the Pick-up Date: No fee
90 to 31 days before the Pick-up Date: 25% of the Rental Charges
30 to 8 day before the Pick-up Date: 50% of the Rental Charges
7 to 0 days before the Pick-up Date (including by failing to pick up the Vehicle): 100% of the Rental Charges
