Experience the great outdoors in our motor home which is like your motel, rental car and restaurant all in one!
Herbie is a fantastic camper with fresh parts and lots of character. He comfortably sleeps 4, is self contained with a shower, toilet and a large water tank. He has new tyres, a powerful new engine and is extremely reliable. Inside Herbie there is a Satellite TV and also solar panelled heating for charging the battery, therefore you do not need to recharge as it is self sufficient and off the grid.
As you can see from the pictures, there is no better vehicle to park up with and enjoy the beautiful scenery than with Herbie. He comes with an awning, one indoor/outdoor table, 4 outdoor chairs, coffee, tea, salt and pepper and all your plates, pots, toaster, jug and utensils etc. We also provide clean linen, towels and blankets for up to 4 people. All you need is to pick up some food and away you go.
Travellers will feel safe in Herbie and will have no problems as long as they look after him and respect him. Up to 4 mountain bikes are available for hire to explore our scenic bike trails and we are happy to negotiate long term hires. Please note we have replaced the storage box on the back of the vehicle with a bike rack.
We prefer Herbie to be picked up and dropped off from Wellington, although for a longer booking we are happy to drive him up to Auckland if required for an additional charge. We can arrange for anytime of the day or night for pick up and drop off. We meet outside Airports that only require a 5 minute walk from the Airport Terminal.

Pick Up & Drop Off
Please arrange mutually times and Pick Up/Drop Off locations with each other.
Insurance
The vehicle is insured by the SHAREaCAMPER Insurance.
Bond
For this camper the security bond amounts NZD 3,500.00. You can reduce it to NZD 500.00 for per rental day. The bond will be processed through SHAREaCAMPER's secure payment system.
Cancellation Fees
The SHAREaCAMPER booking fee is non-refundable.

90 to 31 days before the Pick-up Date: 25% of the Rental Charges
30 to 8 day before the Pick-up Date: 50% of the Rental Charges
7 to 0 days before the Pick-up Date (including by failing to pick up the Vehicle): 100% of the Rental Charges
